I've been trying to connect my pro controller for around 30 mins or so. When i try wireless, it doesn't work at all. But when i try with my USB, it functions but the mapping is wrong, making it difficult to play the game. And, as far as i know, there isn't really any way to fix it manually. Hopefully this gets fixed <3
It's probably because nintendo buttons have A B and Y X switched together so games like ROBLOX or Minecraft windows 10 and 11 edition (Which only has xbox support for some reason) will not remap the buttons so you have to do it manually for games like Minecraft.
i dont know if anyone has this problem but my x button on my ps4 controller keeps pausing the game and i cant bind the buttons to possibly fix it. it inputs the x in the game too so idk how that works

One of the most fun games I've played on here, the sound track is amazing, the art style is so cool and smooth looking and I love how the characters have personality and fit their designs and songs so well, I would highly recommend this game to people who love rhythm games and music. 10/10 for everything.
While in a song in either Story or Quick-Groove mode you can quit through the menus but still maintain control of your inputs. This is apparent by spamming the accept key (S for me) on quit and seeing animations play out behind the menus,
This can lead to you being able to press quit then pressing left and up to press the accept key on Resume and THEN pressing pause again which leads to the game turning full black screen and locking all inputs. Forcing you to either alt+f4 or open task manager for the game. This is 100% replicable during any song.
If you're on Windows 11 I think it should be a base option nowadays where you just click "Extract All..." and then just extract it to unzip the folder but if you don't have that option then you download the tool of your choice like 7-zip and right click the folder after installation to be able to extract it.
The game is great, amazing to see a Parappa clone with such well made art, music, and presentation. My only small gripe is the audio mixing between vocals and music, I can hear everything but the vocals in the first and last song (for the most part)
Just saying, If pc players don't have a controller, And or they don't feel comfortable with wasd and arrow keys, They should be allowed to change their keybinds. And if you do make this change, Don't for the life of all players limit this to Pc players. Sorry if this is long, I got out of school a couple hours ago, Saw this game on my feed, And wanted to try it out, And yes I know this is a demo but even though it is, We should still be able to change the binds. Finally, thank you for reading this little rant.

I just tried it out this morning! Glad I could make the time! I always like the more unique type of rhythm games. Be it, Rhythm Heaven, Crypt of the Necrodancer, Patapon, etc.
This one's got an adorable and expressive artstyle on top of having catchy tunes. Had me willing to repeat stages till I got the hang of 'em!
I'll be sure to keep an eye on this one! I hope it succeeds! ^^

I want to make a little appreciation comment of things I enjoyed in particular, so here it goes!
I love how expressive each character is especially the little animations from Melodii in the song (personal favorite being Melodii's scream in Cream Cheese Icing)
The character design is charming, easily fun and fresh with a sweet color palette!
I've noticed comments comparing this game to Parappa the Rapper but as far as it goes I believe its only the map that is of Parappa! Other than that, it's really it's own thing.
I ABSOLUTELY ADORE THE USAGE OF VOCALOID*! I feel it goes absolutely perfect with the overall feel of the game! Please do not change this as this sets it aside from most rhythm games.
The music is very catchy and I believe the length is rather perfect and not long at all. If anything, if it were longer, it would be good, but fine as is~!
I hope the game becomes a lot more fleshed out + polished for the future! It's so adorable and fun with a LOT of potential! Once I get cash, I'll for sure donate to you, LJ! I've never been this interested in a game in development for a while.
Also, Props to Meggie for providing Nami's super cute voice! You did great!!
TLDR; Scratchin' Melodii is amazing. DEFINITELY play it!

fantastic stuff, i can tell the passion going into this and it's great! the art style has a somewhat rhythm heaven look to it and the actual gameplay is absolutely parappa inspired, and its a ton of fun! if there's one thing i would criticize and hope gets replaced in the future, its the TTS and vocaloid voices used. they're charming sometimes, but others they kinda just sound like noise. im hoping in the future you consider getting some VA's to do the voices, but other than that this is really really good!!

I am willing to give this game sixty bucks when it comes to Steam. It is way better from the full priced AAA games nowadays

It's a bit hidden but it's in the options menu under the "system" tab to the right.
